Job Description:

Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Client Relations Specialist to service and manage a commercial lines book of business and aid our sales team in marketing and binding new accounts. DutiesResponsibilities:Assist clients with customer service needs by corresponding and communicating via email and phone with clients, producers and insurance carriers.Maintain accurate data in the agency management system according to agency procedures.Process policy renewals, changes and cancellations.Prepare documents for new accounts including certificates, auto ID cards, evidence of put transactions into Agency Management System to generate billing invoices and ensure that policies are delivered andor mailed to client in a timely manner.Market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions to the marketing department.Other responsibilities include reviewing audits, filing and monitoring open claims, marketing, binding, and bonding.Additional duties as requested by management.Skills:Ability to analyze and solve technical issues related to commercial insurance accounts.Ability and willingness to follow agency procedures.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Detail oriented, resourceful - strong decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Effective verbal and written communication.RequirementsExperience:2+ years of experience in the commercial lines insurance industry, preferably in an agency setting.Market knowledge of rates, forms and coverage pertaining to commercial insurance accountsMissouri Property and Casualty Insurance license preferred.Required computer skills include a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Outlook along with the ability to utilize an agency management system.Medical insurance, basic life insurance and 401k provided subject to policy terms and waiting periods.
