Business Development Representative (Buffalo, NY)Kickfurther is looking for a top performing Business Development Representative to join its growing Sales and Marketing team to be a revenue-driving individual contributor and potentially develop into an Account Executive and ultimately leader within the organization. You will focus on building your pipeline and creating revenue opportunities by operating communication sequences to facilitate our SMB inventory funding sales process. You will work from the Kickfurther office in the Seneca One tower but have the flexibility to work from home on a regular basis.Kickfurther is a fintech platform backed by the investors behind Paychex, Robinhood, Zoom, Canva and more. We operate a funding marketplace where CPG businesses access capital to pay for their inventory and grow their businesses. Founded in 2014, we were a 43North winner in 2018, have closed $10M+ in funding, and had breakthrough years in 2022 and 2023. This year we're building a powerhouse BDR team and shooting for the moon!Strong performance will be rewarded with advancement opportunities in Kickfurther's high growth environment.ResponsibilitiesMeet (usually remotely, on video) with business owners to understand their supply-chain, logistics, and sales plans in order to identify specific funding opportunitiesCreate pipeline for AE's to close contractsCreate opportunities through Outbound sales strategiesTravel to attend trade shows and generate new KF clients (expect 5-10% travel)Be part of our ongoing product-optimization efforts to improve the client experienceInterface directly with our QC, dev, legal, and leadership team members to be a cohesive and lean growth organizationDevelop into a LEADER >> Build your pipeline of business, managereport to C-Suite, and hiremanage team members to grow the output of the Sales team.Qualifications2+ years as a top performer in a high-pressure sales role. Fintech, tech, or SaaS preferred.Degree in finance, marketing, business operations, or supply chain. It can also be something completely unrelated, but we want to see that you work hard and learn fast!Very strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to people with varied backgrounds (our clients are all very good at doing what they do, but they are not always experts at inventory financing)Skillful with Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, Excel, AI tools, and other new techapplicationsExperience with CPG is nice but not requiredEmployment PackageTotal expected compensation after ramp up is $90k+ = Base $50-$60k + Expected Commission $30k+Equity in a fast growing start-upHealth, vision, and dental benefitsUnlimited vacationKickfurther is a START-UP NY company.
