Majic Productions is a Midwest-based sound, video and lighting production company that will blow you away with a perfect storm of creativity, passion, professionalism and expertise.The Project Manager - Live Events will be responsible for handling multiple events and projects at the same time. Events will vary in size, demand, location and timing. This is an onsite position in Waukesha, WI.Responsibilities Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure flawless show runsMultifaceted communication between clients, vendors, coworkers and other departmentsUpdate and check over show orders using production knowledge and personal experience on show sitesCreate necessary spreadsheets and timelinesCommunicate with clients constantly - while in office, onsite, and after business hoursDirect production in client-facing communication leading up to the eventOwn decisions that are in the best interest of the client, staff, and the companyTake ownership of difficult situations onsite in order to better the event experienceBe present onsite for events as neededAbility to learn audiovisual to better serve clients, coworkers and self Other Duties as assignedRequirements 3+ years of experience in event management Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and long event daysAdapt to a changing hospitality scheduleAbility to work in multiple environments: office days, show runs and jumping in to help other departments where neededTravel as requiredComfortable driving large vehicles, ie: a 24' truck with equipmentMust be able to lift 50lbs and stand for 12+ hoursComfortable working at heights, such as: ladders and lifts.
