Job Description:

SummaryProvide Electrical Controls Engineering support for department projects.Essential Functions• Advisement and participation in all robotic and automation installations• Independently performs and implements projects which have a direct impact on company profitability• Develop a general understanding of the plan process and products• Troubleshoot Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC's• Installation and troubleshooting of Fanuc or Moto Man• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to repairtroubleshoot electrical systems• Knowledge of high voltage systems and distribution.• Knowledge of utility systems (water, air, hydraulic, etc).• Working knowledge of process controls technology (both current and past)• Excellent working knowledge and experience of a wide variety of controls hardware-Relay logic, PLCs including ControlLogix, and CompLogix, Frequency Drives etc. Allen Bradley• Proficient in controls and user interface software (FactoryTalk View MESE, RSLogix, RSLogix 5000, Panelview, and others)• Experience working with Ethernet• Proficient in Microsoft Office software product (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutocadCore Competencies Job Specific Competencies• Communication• Engineering Concepts• Results Oriented• KM Operations & Product Knowledge• InitiativeUrgency• Customer Knowledge• Problem Solving• Technology• Interpersonal SkillsTeamwork• FlexibilityAdaptability• Customer Focus• Innovation• Analytical Thinking
