We think so!JOB SUMMARY AerCap Materials, Inc. is hiring for Director - Asset Strategy. The role will lead a team responsible for the following, including both airframe and engines: developing overall inventory strategy and management including valuation of assets for acquisition, determining optimal sales pricing, implementing global inventory strategy, delivering and applying insightof market trends for both existing and potential asset types and recommending business strategy modification as necessary. The scale, experience and accessibility of our global team provides ready access to support the aviation industry.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Deeply understand market dynamics and trends to drive asset strategy. Develop and managepricing strategy for existing and potential inventory- including defining and monitoring inventory by sales velocity.Critically analyze assetsto identify optimal configuration and condition.Measure, analyze and react to plannedperformance variances by asset types.Manage and modify valuation models as required in response to market changes.Review and approve valuation of assets for acquisition. Identify components and drive speculative purchases to supplement inventory and meet unique customer demands.Determine optimal inventory level and placement globally to meet customerdemand.Measure and reportasset performance monthly - identifyareas of focus,meet with management to review metrics and assign action items.Using market insight, actively participate in asset planning by coordinating with Sales and Acquisitions on existing and future customer demands and market availability.Determine and managenew product entry and existinginventory exit strategy. Analyze inventory to support quarterly impairment reviews.Review and approve disassembly reconciliations.Determine and overseepolicies for pricing,credits, sales adjustments, warranties and exchanges.Other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESEducationalExperiencedegree or equivalent related aviation experience.management experience in the aviation industry, preferably in the USM market.problem-solving, analytical skills and financial acumen.Strong oral and written communication skills.
