The position requires residency in Los Angeles, CA, or Beverly Hills, CA. The individual will own client relationships in his or her assigned territory. A fit for this position requires a charismatic, relatable, warm extrovert with a strong sense of urgency and hyper-responsiveness to clients via phone, email, and in scheduling meetings. This individual will educate clients on Rockpoint's services, consult to solve their problems, and successfully close deals while providing a superior client experience. An ideal candidate will have experience developing relationships and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.This position comes with the fun perks of paid-for weekend conferences, an expense account, client meals, and outings, the opportunity to forge friendships across the industry...and more!!Responsibilities: Identify, build, and develop new business opportunities, outside of the existing portfolio, with strategic targets in key market segments.Maintain accurate records and manage sales pipeline, including contacts, opportunities, lead lists, activities, and account updates and notes in a proprietary database.Conduct several weekly meetings with clients to uncover and understand their developing needs. Deliver results from these meetings.Collaborate and problem-solve with sales support departments to maximize sales team potential.Able and willing to travel andor work nights and weekends, as required, for participation in networking conferences, dinners, and activities related to relationship development.Monitor and share observations related to competitor activities and market trends and keep current with industry developments.Assist senior management in the development and updating of the regional business plan.Thorough understanding of sales methodologies for new business acquisition, existing account growth and churn mitigation.Meet and exceed sales quotas.Ad Hoc projects as needed.Qualifications: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities: High-energy, enthusiastic attitude.Driven and self-motivated.Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written skills.Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills that cultivate long-lasting business relationships with influential decision-makers, including attorneys, case managers, and paralegals.Professionally persistent and fortably and enthusiastically networks with customers in the field at professional events and conferences.Exhibit strong business acumen, maturity, and the ability to work effectively with others.Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required.
