Noble is hiring for an Financial Reporting Manager at our Corporate Office working a hybrid schedule (3 days in office2 days from home). We are currently located in Sugar Land (SW Houston) but given our exponential growth we will be moving to West Chase in 2025 to allow for a more collaborative work environment and continue our growth. Noble Corporation (aka Noble Drilling) is an offshore drilling contractor that recently has won great projects from Shell, TotalEnergies, Petronas, BP and many more. We've recently began our green effort initiative to slash our CO emissions on our rigs and ships with alternative fuel blends, digital enablement and rig upgrades.JOB SUMMARYThis role will lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and as needed analyses for internal management reporting. Analyses are utilized by other functions as well, such as External Reporting and Tax. The role manages andor relies on personnel in Houston and internationally, and is responsible for driving efficiency in internal reporting through the use of OneStream, Power BI, Microsoft Office applications or similar tools while working with Operations Controllers to identify and streamline reporting required for both consolidated and operational needs. The role assists with internal and external audit requests and may have exposure to executive management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide management with accurate and timely consolidated and disaggregated financial informationResponsible for standardized periodic reporting (e.g., rig statements, revenue and cost analytics)Coordinate process and reporting changes with operations accounting and other functionsCoordinate with overseas share-service personnel, as neededParticipate in month-end close process, as applicable to the functionManage internal controls relative to the functionProvide reportsaudit schedules as requested by other departmentsPrepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries by external and internal auditorsAssist in the preparation of the management's discussion analysis section of the 10-Q and 10-KMaintain effective and regular communication with managers and other functionsMaintain a service-oriented attitude with other functions end-usersDevelop team members and maintain positive teamwork environmentProactively develop efficient end-state solutions (automated wherever possible)Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSDegree in Accounting or Finance (with significant experience in accounting) requiredCPA heavily preferred but not requiredUnderstand and apply US GAAP; familiar with SEC guidelines10 years of experience in preparing financial information1 to 3 years direct experience in preparing management reporting analyses in a corporate environmentExperience with analyzing financial information in a multi-national environmentAbility to summarize detail and prepare, adapt and communicate information in concise ways that are easily understood by specific audiences (e.g., legal, tax, treasury, operations)Knowledge of major integrated systems - preferably some or all: SAP, IFS, OneStreamWorking knowledge of Power BI and IFRS preferred but not requiredSUPERVISORYDirect: Financial Reporting Analyst(s) in HoustonIndirect: Overseas shared-service personnel
