Job Description:

The Procurement Specialist will perform technical duties related to maximizing value for money and ensuring a responsible and continuous supply chain in accordance with established polices and regulations; leverage external capabilities through vendor relationship management; engage internal stakeholders in optimizing and protecting the supply chain; perform administrative duties requiring a high degree of expertise in more than one of the areas of office management, fiscal management, analytics, and stakeholder relations.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Identify critical supplier relationship gaps and report clinicvendor feedback to Purchasing DirectorDrive an effective and efficient end-to-end supply chain in collaboration with Clinical VP and Purchasing Director. Focused on managing and consolidating savings across organization.Understand price risk and backorder exposure to eliminate or reduce supply shortages and invoice holdsMonitor and manage inventory system in conjunction with Data SpecialistCollaborate with Accounts Payable and Practice Supervisors to maintain the flow of the Procure-to-Pay processReports status of projects, cost savings initiatives and streamlining options to the Ops Field LeadersBasic understanding of commercial facilities and vendor managementNegotiate contracts with vendors that accomplish the scope of work but also results in cost savingsUnderstand organization's purchasing governance and be able to explain to othersPerform other duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications:Enthusiastically embrace challengesEffectively cope with change and shift gears quicklyBe dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customersMake quality decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgementDemonstrate trustworthiness and integrity by appropriately presenting the unvarnished truth, keeping confidences and admitting mistakesPractice attentive and active listeningAccomplish tasks through formal channels and informal networkEliminate roadblocks and create focus to accomplish priority tasksSeparate and combine tasks into efficient workflow Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingCooperative, supportive, encouraging, and candid with peers; seen as a team player Community Care Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
