Work -PersonPre-Employment Requirements.Drug Screen and Background CheckJob Description.Allison-Smith Company is looking for full-time Field Safety Managers to support a long-term construction project in Fayetteville, Georgia.Education and Work Experience.At least one (1) of the following qualifications, combining education and work experience, is required:A bachelor's degree in safety + 1 year of safety experience; orSafety Certification (STS-C, CHST, CSP, etc. + 3 years of experience in construction supervision; or5 years in safety + OSHA 30Job Purpose.The Field Safety Managers' purpose is to support the project safety manager, project management, field operations, and commissioning teams in achieving the objective of eliminating injuries, illnesses, and general liability claims. Responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections. Effectively collaborates with safety supervisors, field safety manager, and customer project management. Provide guidance and coaching to individuals and foreman on adherence to regulations and owner requirements governing safety and health and provides safety and health training as needed.Role, Duties, and spects job sites for safe working conditions to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.Conducts New Hire Orientation Training and Safety Training to new employees.Trains employees in various topics to include Lock-OutTag-Out, Aerial and Scissor Lifts, Confined Space, First-AidCPR Certification, etc.Creates job site Job Hazard Analysis and Activity Hazard Analysis.Participates in toolbox meetings at the job site.Performs frequent audits of lock-outtag-out.Participates in Root Cause Analysis for incidents and near misses. Recommends and facilitates implementation of corrective action plans.Orders suspension of activities that pose threats to workers' health and safety.Assists project personnel with safety municates safety regulations and compliance requirements to field supervision and recommends measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal skills. Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities to ensure a wide range of subjects are clearly communicated to all levels of the workforce, management, and client representatives.All safety staff are required to meet the physical requirements of this job description and must be willing to submit to a pre-employment physical exam.All employees are required to adhere to the company drug and alcohol policies.All employees are required to follow all safety rules and regulations and be eligible to work in the United petencies, Skills, and Abilities.Good oral and written communications.Ability to perform job duties with little or no supervision.Ability to work safely with emphasis on following procedures and best management practices.Must be a problem solver with the ability to find a puter skills.
