A day in the life, what you'll be doing:Work with the design team to develop flat sketches, create cohesive concepts each season and prepare for presentations (must have an interest in gaining strong wash experience and denim knowledge)Collaborate with Mens and Womens team for Concept PresentationsHelp execute the concepts of the designer with critical attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet all department deadlines.Manages communications between design function and non-design team members.Fuel a collaborative creative environment among design team and merchandising terested in learning and continuing the company's commitment to sustainability initiatives.CreateManage all BOMS and TPs on the design side.Monitors development of preproduction samples with partnership with Product Managers.Responsible for conducting market research and become familiar with issues and effects that influence our industry's shifts in business.Effectively communicate with and provide accurate, clear information to vendors, product development team and tech team via tech packs and emails needed.Attends fittings to comment and convey the intended fit of each garment either with or without Designer. Prepares for meetings, organizes programs and communicates style info to merchants and product development.Works with Product Managers to monitor lab dip, hand loom, and strike-off approval.
