Please note, the preferred candidate will reside in the following territories: Georgia, Knoxville, Nashville, Louisville, and Cincinnati. DescriptionThe Regional Sales Manager leads their sales team to develop an assigned territory, and to meet desired sales objectives and goals. The Regional Sales Manager ensures their team represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while ensuring the customer's needs and expectations are completely met by the company.Essential FunctionsSales LeadershipCoaches their assigned staff in to meet regional goals and objectivesPerform regular reviews (quarterly minimum) of accounts for each Territory Manager and Inside Sales Representative assigned to their regionIdentifies growth opportunities within existing and target accounts.Properly utilizes computer systems to leverage business intelligence into the sales processRegularly accompanies Territory Managers on sales visits to assess the sales techniques and capabilities for their staff, and to provide coaching for improvement.Supports and execute Vetoquinol's sales and marketing activities.Engages in the process of forecasting, establishing and achieving of regional sales and profitability budgets for their assigned municationRegularly communicates business needs, ideas, and strategies with Head of Sales.Regular reviews (quarterly minimum) of all team members performance and development plans.Properly communicates internally and externally, including prompt reviews and replies to email, voice mail and phone callsRelays all competitive information to company managementMeet all required deadlines and proper follow-up and follow through on requests assigned or asked of the Regional Sales Manager.Regularly collaborates with sales trainers and regional TSV to help identify strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities of all team members.Team ManagementConducts all recruiting, training, supervising, evaluating, and performance management of department staff members.Continuously improves the department's function, including the development of staff by providing effective coaching and feedback as well as appropriate delegation to staff members.GeneralAdministrative Supports the company vision and mission, and demonstrates the corporate core values in all professional plies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and piles and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.All other duties as requested by management. QualificationsEducation and CertificationFour-year college degree from an accredited institutionKnowledge and ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of business-to-business sales management experienceKnowledge of the animal health industry is highly preferableComputer skills and proficiencyPersonal AttributesExceptional coaching and management skillsExceptional organizational and time management skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills, possessing an ability to work with a diverse populationProven skills in negotiationAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a teamDesire to serveInternal candidates must apply via the internal application process.
