Preference will be given to candidates who live in or in close proximity to the below cities to be considered for this role: Territory-Northeast Region: Boston, MA, Long Island, part of NYC, Maine, Connecticut, Upstate NY.DescriptionThe Technical Services Veterinarian develops and grows the company's commercial effectiveness by adding knowledge and value to our product range, increasing customer satisfaction and sales. The role maintains and provides a high level of technical communication and support to our external customers and veterinary knowledge to the commercial teams within the business unit to maintain and improve the quality and quantity of customer contact with Vetoquinol USA.Essential Functions Technical Services SupportOrganizes and supports regular client meetings to present technical information and provide practical training to practices increasing the understanding of the company's products.Provides clarification in relation to technical issues that may be acting as resistance to full product adoption.Develops the company's reputation for excellence and expertise by representing the company in a professional, knowledgeable, ethical manner, while continually optimizing commercial opportunity.Delivers prompt veterinarytechnical advice and support to internal and external customers by answering inquiries relating to the use of our products and the relevant medical conditions around which our product portfolio is based.Partners with the marketing department to ensure accurate, effective campaigns for assigned product lines. Includes creation and review of technical materials and presentations used by internal departments.Provides technical training and advice to the sales, key account, and marketing departments, maximizing the technical competence of the commercial staff so they can bring added value to our customers and offer credible technical objection handling during the sales process.Works alongside the sales team, ensuring our customers use our products in the most effective way possible, both ethically and commercially.Routinely completes "ride along" with territory managers within region(s) covered to ensure the territory managers are accurate with product knowledge, approach and evaluate areas for improvement.Coordinatepartner with appropriate regional manager(s) to help the regional team improve their knowledge and effectiveness as a region.Develops and maintains the company's contact with opinion leaders and key account contacts to maximize commercial opportunities and develop potential business partnerships with the company's key customers.Represents the company at nationalregional conferences or tradeshows providing technical information to attendees through discussion or lecture.Coordinates and partners with pharmacovigilance on activities and communication at the field level.Development and delivery of continuing education to veterinarians and technicians.GeneralAdministrative Supports the company vision and mission and demonstrates the corporate core values in all professional plies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and piles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.Travel requirements are 60-70% travel outside of home officeAll other duties as requested by management. QualificationsEducation and CertificationDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education.Knowledge and ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of veterinary practiceExperience in education, coaching, training, and public speakingPreference for previous industry experienceComputer skills and proficiencyPersonal AttributesExceptional coaching and management skillsExceptional organizational and time management skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills, possessing an ability to work with a diverse populationAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a teamDesire to serveVetoquinol USA is an equal opportunity employer.
