Job Description:

LHH is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator in Vero Beach, FL. Primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and efficient processing of payroll records. Additionally, will conduct initial new hire orientation for new employees and functions as the primary contact and provides guidance and interpretation on payroll, benefits, and state and federal laws. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Excel and a keyboard warrior. Our client is looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow within the company. DutiesResponsibilities:PayrollBi-weekly payroll for multiple states. Enters, maintains, andor processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, withholding, & other information.Processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, & other deductions.Prepare payroll general ledger entry and monthly payroll accrualExport, prepare and audit quarterly PTO report for distribution to managersProcess and Prepare year-end reportingBenefits & HRAssists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, & terminations. Processes required documents through payroll & insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.Performs customer service functions by answering employee requestsquestions.Assists with pre-employment requirements including pre-employment background checks and drug screens, etc.Reconciles multiple benefits invoicesstatements each month. (AP experience helpful not required)Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs & recommends corrective action.Conduct new hire orientations, new hire packets, new employee files, etc. Report AutoWorkers Compensation ClaimsTrack OSHA data & annually file OSHA 300A report.File annual EEOC reportHandle Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests Process Unemployment Claims, Research & protest invalid claims.Qualifications: High school diploma required - degree or necessary experienceCPP preferredHigh Level Excel knowledgeHigh Level Typing
