Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development Representative performs a range of duties, including but not limited to the following: Develop and grow relationships with distributors and resellers (business partners) to drive mutual business growth and achieve sales targetsIdentify & onboard new reseller partnersHave a working understanding of the Company's products, processes, and manufacturing proceduresMaintain the database of different business partners and their applicable contracts; ensure status and notes are up to date Collaborate across departments to develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company's objectives, values, and missionCollaborate with marketing and Resellers to get CSS products and information on their websitesDrive revenue growth through effective management of business development activities, including setting sales targets, forecasting, and monitoring performance metricsWork closely with the Marketing Department to provide training resources and support our business partners to ensure they are set up for success to sell our products effectivelyNegotiate and finalize agreements with business partners, ensuring mutually favorable terms and conditions Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for business partner expansion or growthFacilitate interdepartmental partnerships for program projectsTrack and analyze sale performance metrics, including pipelines, conversion rates, and revenue growth in CRMERP (NetSuite), and take proactive measures to address any gaps or issuesEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements, and provide regular reports on business partner performance to managementParticipate and assist with the coordination of trade shows - act as a company representative for potential customers, including new business partnersCreates quotes, enters orders, and processes transactions within the CRM Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsHigh School Degree required. Bachelor's Degree andor MBA in business administration, marketing, or a similar field preferred10 - 15 years of previous sales experience in a B2B environment, with a proven track record of successStrong business acumen, customer service skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to analyze market trends to develop effective sales strategiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the company5+ years of CRMERP experience; NetSuite experience strongly preferredResults-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving goals and delivering measurable outcomesAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel up to 25% as needed to attend trade shows, meet partners and attend industry eventsProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit in a stationary position for long periods; occasionally move around the office and reach into cabinets, drawers, etc.; ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Working Conditions: Standard office environment with fluorescent lighting, regular interruptions, and a standard noise level.
