Job Description:

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for finding, developing, and executing projects that will improve our operations or provide a growth path for our clients. Develops and provides mathematical analyses to support Engineering recommendations for improvements. Guides Kaizen events to reduce waste in our operations. Updates facilitylayouts and helps develop material handling equipment designs, storage media designs,process designs, slotting and pick path analyses. Other general outputs include capacityplans with noted constraints, warehouse utilization studies, and labor models and staffing plans.Job Duties:· Drive labor improvement through the creation of engineered labor standards, performance incentive roll-out, cost benefit evaluations, workflow analysis, asset utilization, and scheduling optimization.· Enhancing FC efficiency through deployment of lean methodologies, coaching and mentoring of team and associates, effective leadership of continuous improvement projects with exceptional data collection and visualization.· Map the current state, identify the future state, and develop standard work for normal and abnormal workflow in order to streamline and standardize tasks.· Analyzes client data to determine order profiles, storage media application, product slotting, velocity, SKU affinities.· Prepares engineering documents to describe solution and detailed operating concepts such as storage and shipping capacity, zoning, slotting, waving, etc. and facilitates reviews with key work stream leads including engineering peers, WMS Implementation, and operations.· Participates in the creation andor update of WMS configuration files with all needed locations slottingzoningsequencesput-away and picking profiles for the facility and preparing slotting files andor slotting tool for the facility· Supporting initiatives that ensure the FC operates with industry best practices in the areas of Innovation, Efficiency, Customer ServiceService Level, Inventory Management and Quality.· Producing daily reports to a variety of distribution lists to provide information regarding daily performance, forecasted workloads and various trend updates.· Other duties as required and assignedRequirements:Education & Experience:· Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering degree from an accredited institution· Minimum 0-2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience· Must be proficient in AutoCAD · Must be PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite· 3PL warehousing, distribution center or fulfillment experience preferred· Time study M.O.S.T analysis experience preferredEssential Skills:· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures and governmental regulations· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals· Ability to effectively communicate process and technical concepts to a variety of audiences from entry level warehouse employee to executive level· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forWhat we offer: Rapid Career Advancement: This position is designed for quick growth, with a clear path to becoming an Account Executive.Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to balance work and life seamlessly.Dynamic Work Environment: Join an established yet fast-moving company where your contributions directly impact our success and growth.Supportive Leadership: Work directly under experienced leaders who are committed to your professional development and petitive Compensation: Attractive base salary with performance-based incentives.
