So far, the men's business has been a relatively small portion of the total REVOLVE business, but there is opportunity to put a more strategic foot forward, and the Head of Men's Buying will be a key driver of this effort. As such, the Head of Men's Buying will be a forward-thinking, dynamic and strategic men's merchant who can bring a vision for what both, the REVOLVE and FWRD men's business could and should look like, and bring the relevant experience and brand partnerships to execute this vision. The ideal candidate will bring a high taste level, strong analytical mindset and the ability to build a strong basicsreplenishment business, paired with the right trend elements to round out the assortment. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen and build out a nascent business for a highly successful e-commerce player, and build upon the existing and proven business model and very strong and established reputation that REVOLVE enjoys in the women's market. This a full-time role for a candidate who will direct the buy and manage the men's RTW andor accessories andor shoe space for REVOLVE and FWRD. Major Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Knowledgeable in men's contemporary and luxury brands, as well as current trends in RTW, Shoes and Accessories.Set the seasonal buying strategy for REVOLVE and FWRD menswear to grow the business.Develop and manage relevant vendor relationships, as well as relationships across company channels.Analyze business metrics and industry trends to find opportunities for future assortments; actively build out the vendor matrix.Manage sales and profitability, gross-margins, financial projections and merchandise plans.Manage the buy of a variety of men's products and brands for and Identify opportunities and risks in-season through analyzing sales performance.Able to calculate gross margin, turnover and OTB.Work on special projects as assigned.Work closely with the planning team to execute strategic buys.Partner closely with e-commerce merchandising and editorial teams to build out an email and homepage calendar.Review sales results to strategize mark-downs and manage aged inventory through strategic liquidation.Able to guide and support a small buying team with order placement and tracking to ensure timely receipt of merchandise.Must be able to work flexible hours.Some travel required. Exceptional problem-solving skills and exceptional ability to identify and improve processes Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion or Business preferred.Minimum 10 years of men's Buying experience, preferably within the contemporary space.Experience in a digital andor multi-brand setting preferred.Strong knowledge of and the ability to apply retail math concepts, including markup, margin planning, open to buy, and inventory productivity measures.Proficient in Email (preferably Gmail), Microsoft Office. For individuals assigned andor hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.A reasonable estimate of the current salary rate is $150k- $175k per year.
