The Lexington, KY location has a specialized pharmaceutical team that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prescription nasal spray products. This is a full-time, individual contributor role based in Lexington, Kentucky. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within the company.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement safety and security policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations- Conduct regular facility audits to identify any potential hazards or security risks and work with relevant teams to address and resolve them- Proactively identify and address any safety or security concerns and make recommendations for improvements- Manage various safety and security programs, such as emergency preparedness, fire prevention, and incident reporting- Maintain and update safety and security records and documentation- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant safety and security regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and FDA- Investigate any safety or security incidents and provide timely and thorough reports to management- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations related to safety and security matters- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to improve safety and security measures- Stay current on industry trends and developments related to safety and security and incorporate best practices into company policies and proceduresPosition Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree with 5+ years related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.A minimum of five years' experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role.A minimum of five years in industry or Contract Manufacturing Operation (CMO) would be a plus.OSHA 10hr or 30hr certification puter skills (e.g. MS Office including Excel, Word, and Project) are essential.Excellent written and verbal skills.Work a normal day shift Monday through Friday.
