Job Description:

The Controls Engineer will provide industrial automation support for the CertainTeed plant located in Social Circle, GA. This includes the management, daily troubleshooting support, design and solution implementation of all industrial networks on the manufacturing plant floor, including servers, switches, HMI industrial PC's and numerous PLC's. Essential FunctionsLead troubleshooting efforts with the Plant Controller, Process Engineers, and electrical maintenance departmentAssess manufacturing processes and design and assist in scalable efforts to automate manual activities and reduce operational effort. Recommend projects to standardize equipment and processes across multiple sites. Assist in execution of developed strategy to achieve and sustain results.Work with engineers and technicians to integrate automation designs onto the production floorDevelop operation manuals and procedures for new systemsAnalyze and resolve problems related to office based personal computers, windows servers, local area networks, operating systems and all other areas of infrastructure that may come under their control.
