SUMMARY: We are currently hiring a Product Specialist responsible for Product Management support for both Lamps and Luminaires in the areas of Marketing Material, Road Maps, and New Product Introduction including competitor analysis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Participate in implementing the Product Marketing Strategy, communicate with the Sales Channels on active Products, Pricing and PromotionIdentify, drive and support process development efforts on each process area critical to product attributes. Highlight and quantify impact of current process capability on product performance. Help define process requirement.Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies and campaigns to generate excitement around product launches, line extensions, and sales strategies.Support Product Managers preparing data, drawings, and verbiage for presentations, cut sheets and installation manuals.Conduct thorough content reviews to support effective project management execution including electronic catalog to ensure landing pages, cut sheets, and other customer facing materials are current.Analysis of Competitor Product Portfolios to assist Product Managers process for determining specifications and need for New Product Introduction.Assist with input of product master data into SAP.Create an on-going Product and Competitor benchmark, deep dive on competitors technical and go to market abilities and provide key information for competitive advantages for LEDVANCE products.Deeply understand your target audiences and their needs and use those insights to create winning marketing campaigns.Point person to organize materials for the Product Group for trade shows, sales meetings, and line reviews; samples, slide decks.QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred candidate will have lighting knowledge or experience.Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills and be able to resolve elevated issues, be creative and resourceful and display sound judgment and demonstrate accountability.Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions.Strong organization, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines.Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment.to work both independently toward the successful attainment of department goals and project completion dates, and as part of a team to leverage input and knowledge base of others within the company in providing well rounded and thoughtful information and solutions.Ability to work with functional groups and all levels of employees throughout the LEDVANCE organization to achieve business objectives effectively and professionally.Customer service and team orientated.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:B.S. Marketing andor Business Administration, B.S. Electrical EngineeringTechnical speaking and writing skills in English.0-2 Yrs of Work experienceSome Travel required (10%-15%)Excellent skills in MS OfficeSAP experience is a plusADDITIONAL INFORMATION:This role is Monday - Friday during standard business hours.LEDVANCE has a minimum of 3 day in-office requirement.Position is eligible for LEDVANCE employee referral program.Relocation is not available with this position.Work sponsorship is not available with this position.
