Job Description:

A Soldering Technician position is available in Beaverton, WA courtesy of Akkodis.Type: Contract-to-HireRange: $23 - $25 per hourLocation: Beaverton, WAShift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.JOB DESCRIPTION:-Complete soldering tasks at the direction of the post lead, according to IPC J-, REV G, and IPC Class standards.- Ensure correct alloy and flux composition is utilized at the direction of the post lead and as described per the job documentation.- Ensure completed soldering tasks are cleanedrouted for proper cleaning.- Self-inspect all soldering performed to ensure that complete and final assemblies are routed to Quality Assurance.- Properly handle and care for soldering tools (tips, sponges, assembly tools, workstation mats. etc.).- Maintain segregation and organization of consumable supplies and tools according to job requirements.- Clear work area after job completion to ensure isolation of materials and requirements.- Identify and introduce process improvements andor non-conformances with the guidance of the post lead.- Assist in set-up, maintenance, andor operation of Selective Solder process.- Perform prepping tasks.REQUIREMENTS:- Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience .- Minimum 1 year of experience soldering electronics, including surface mount and through hole components.- familiarity with soldering equipment such as soldering iron, preheater, hot-air station.- Familiarity with J-STD-001.- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status required.- Ability to work daily and weekend overtime as necessary.
