Multiple Assembly Technician positions in Tulsa, OK are currently available courtesy of Akkodis. These are all Contract-to-Hire positions which will convert between 3 and 6 months.Pay Rate Range: $19.50 to $20.00 per hour (DOE) -- Benefits once converted.Terms: Contract-to-Hire (conversion at 3-6 months)Location: Tulsa, OKMiscellaneous: This position is under ITAR restrictions.Position Summary: Provide technicaloperational support to the production cells as well as perform disassembly, cleaning, safety wiring and painting of aviation components. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Will report to cell leads for any technical issues.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:• Properly execute the duties assigned.• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.• Ensure that all maintenance documentation is completed legibly and correctly for all work performed.• Maintain repair stations special tools and equipment in serviceable and working condition.• Ensure all required maintenance actions are performed in accordance with the applicable manufacturers or customer provided maintenance manual and that all actions are correctly and completely documented on the appropriate maintenance forms.• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all work performed within their respective shops.• Ensure the proper handling of all parts while being processed through the maintenance function.• Ensure the proper tagging and identification of parts and components as delineated in the RSQC Manual.• Observes all safety and security procedures.• Uses equipment and materials properly.• Reports potentially unsafe conditions.• Other duties as assigned.• Ability to work on either 1st or 2nd Shift.Education:• Highschool Diploma or GEDExperience:• Preferred 1+ year of experience in procedure, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work performed by hisher assigned shop.Preferred Experience:• Strong troubleshooting knowledge down to component level using measuring gauges and test equipment.• Knowledge of electronic business systems Microsoft Office, Quantum or other internal business management system.• Ability to work well under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines.• Looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture.• Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, well-developed problem-solving skills, solid organizational skill; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of the organization.• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, vendors, and customers.• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
