ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is a reputable commercial general contractor with a diverse portfolio of commercialmultifamily projects actively seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position will be responsible for developed detailed cost estimates including experience with conceptual estimating for both negotiated and hard bids.Select ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the preparation of conceptual cost models, budgets and feasibility models based on historical cost data andor subcontractor input as appropriateIdentify and report problems or deficiencies to the Project ManagerAnalyze Project program, design, costs, and subcontractor input; provide comparisons, cost-saving, and value engineering optionsPrepare cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs occurred in heavy civil industry projectsMust have the ability to explain details behind each estimate, including the basis of the man-hours allocated for each task, personnel resources needed to execute each task, etc.Provide estimating review support to the development teamPrepare project cost estimates from the client's RFQ documents and drawings and any other information learned during the pre-bid showingMaintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager, and client with regards to cost estimating activitiesCANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of two (2) years of construction experience as an estimatorA minimum of one (1) year estimating specifically multifamily projectsBachelor's Degree requiredStrong computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reportsWHAT'S ON OFFERBase salary of $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience100% company-paid for health insurance; dental and vision optional401k with 4% match$45month cell phone allowanceYear-end bonusesOpportunity to be part of a reputable firm and great team cultureLife insuranceUnlimited PTO!Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearAbility to Relocate: Springfield, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)
