GU offers demographic-specific self-defense programs that teach men, women, children, and law enforcement based in the principles and techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Our Torrance location serves as GU headquarters with over 1,100 local students and a state-of-the-art facility. Owners Rener and Ryron Gracie are grandsons of Helio Gracie, the co-creator of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and they continue his legacy as they teach the weak to defend against the strong. For both instructors and students, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art, it is a lifestyle.JOB SUMMARYThe E-Commerce Manager's spearhead our online retail and wholesale operations for Gracie Lifestyle, Quikflip Apparel, and Sleeper Hold, driving growth and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all platforms.RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Oversight: Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies for Quikflip Apparel, Sleeper Hold, and Gracie Lifestyle, aligning with overall business goals.Website Management: Oversee the management of all three websites, ensuring functionality, user-friendliness, and up-to-date content. Coordinate with web developers to troubleshoot issues and optimize site performance. Coordinate and manage migration of Gracie Store from UltraCart to Shopify.Sales and Marketing: Drive online sales through effective digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and PPC campaigns. Analyze performance data to continually refine tactics.Product Management: Coordinate with product development teams to manage online product listings, descriptions, and inventory accuracy. Ensure a consistent and appealing presentation across all sites.Customer Experience: Oversee customer service for online operations, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. Implement feedback mechanisms to enhance the user experience.Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on e-commerce metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve performance and profitability.Market Trends and Innovations: Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, digital technology advancements, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team dedicated to e-commerce operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Wholesale Management: Collaborate with the website development team to ensure that the ecommerce platform is optimized to cater to the needs and preferences of wholesale customers, including features such as bulk ordering capabilities, personalized pricing structures, and streamlined account management functionalities, while maintaining a seamless and intuitive user experience.SKILLS & REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record in managing online retail operations.Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and e-commerce platforms.Excellent analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.Proficient in SEO, SEM, and web analytics tools.Exceptional leadership abilities and team management experience.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
