We are looking for a high-performing HR Manager to lead the HR team and support the manufacturing leadership team at our Welcome, NC facility in building a culture that aligns with the company's goal of being the premier building product provider in North America. A key element in being the premier provider in the US is having the best talent management and people related processes in the industry. This role will be expected to deliver high quality results in guiding leaders to develop high performing teams and developing team members for career growth. Successful candidates must demonstrate critical thinking ability, sound judgement, effective organizational skills, great communication skills, a desire to help, grace under pressure, and personal resilience. Subject-matter expertise of applicable employment law is a requirement. This position reports the Director, Human Resources.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Knowledge & ApplicationReceives objective based assignments, and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policiesRecommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect section or multiple disciplines. Guides by function or department practices and well defined management precedentsOther Areas of ResponsibilityResponsible for delivering high-quality HR service and supporting a broad range of HR responsibilitiesThis role partners with all levels of employees, primarily people managers, to help enhance the employee experience and support the business strategy through HR activitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships as a trusted partner and employee advocate, in support of developing the optimal culture to drive performance, retention and engagementCollaborate with department leaders and their teams to ensure talent strategies are linked to our business priorities, support individual team members, departmental, and plant-wide ambitionsPartner on hiring and development and advancement of team members; this includes working with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to fill open positions, onboard new hires and build strong internal and external pipelinesSupport change management efforts, nurture our culture and create unique team member experiencesUnderstand external trends in the marketplace and make recommendations on how those could affect internal employeesOversee and take a proactive approach to Employee Relations, and make recommendations by providing guidance, interpreting policy and issue resolutionQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field strongly preferred6 or more years in progressive HR with heavy hourly employee populationsPrior experience having direct accountability for a team is strongly preferredProven track record of HR leadership with regards to employee experience and business strategy supportA proven track record leading transformational change in manufacturing processes, leadership, culture, and team member developmentDemonstrated ability delivering high-quality HR service and supporting a broad range of HR related activitiesExperienced leading HR team members and developing them towards high performanceExperience participating on cross-functional teams and driving decision-makingExperience overseeing people related metricsRequires minimal travelAll Microsoft Office products; HCM or HRIS knowledge requiredBilingual in Spanish is strongly preferredAdditional Information:This position will be out of our Welcome, NC facility.
