About UsSyncell is a biotechnology startup company that is commercializing a revolutionary technology called Microscoop. Microscoop allows you to look at your cell or tissue sample through a microscope and choose the subcellular region that you want to analyze for protein composition. Examples would be: mitochondria, immune synapse, neuronal growth regions (boutons), stress granules, primary cilia, beta amyloid plagues, etc. The end product of the Microscoop is a sample ready to run on mass spec to discover newunknown protein constituents in the region of interest.About the RoleWe are seeking a very well connected, experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive sales expansion of the Microscoop system, targeting leading academic institutes, biotech and pharma. The KAM will bring a track record of success selling capital equipment and associated reagents. Candidate must have a strong background in microscopy, proteomics, or spatial biology and be familiar with biological problems in application fields such as cancer biology, neuroscience, immunology, or cell biology. The KAM will actively network and present Microscoop capabilities to clients, build a robust sales pipeline and close opportunities to achieve company annual financial targets.About YouYou are a seasoned sales professional that has strong technical acumen and credibility in the consultative selling of cutting-edge instrumentation within academia, biotech and pharma. You have an extensive network in the industry and a strong history of account relationships with key thought leaders in neuroscience, cancer biology, or related fields. You have managed the sales process from lead generation and follow-up through procurement negotiation and closing large capital equipment orders in the BostonNortheastern US area. Experience in selling spatial biology or proteomics tools is a plus.Responsibilities●    Consistently increase sales of Microscoop instruments & reagents and achieve annual bookings targets with strong huntingprospecting and closing skills.●    Present Syncell capabilities at all levels including C-suite executives within client organizations.●    Dive deeply into accounts to uncover opportunities and identify decision makers.●    Work with the internal team as needed to present to prospective clients and drive decisions to close opportunities.●    Actively prospect the market, using a combination of Syncell leads, and both personal contacts and key opinion leader networking to build a robust pipeline.●    Drive territory planning and deliver both accurate and timely forecasting with consistent maintenance of opportunity funnel in Salesforce.●    Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and represent Syncell professionally and with integrity at all times. Requirements●    A minimum of 5 years sales experience with a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota.●    Extensive experience selling imaging technologies to leading academic research and bio-pharma accounts.●    Strong desire to win business and establish long term customer relationships.●    Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a startup environment.●    Able to engage in work-related travel 50% of the time, when allowable.●    Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field. Masters or Ph.D. preferred.●    Strong working knowledge of SFDC.
