Our rapidly growing company offers a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, tailored for the relentless pursuit of innovation.Overview of this position:As a robotics technician, you will work on robot assembly and troubleshooting activities with a high level of communication and collaboration with the manufacturing team and mechanicalelectrical engineers to develop robots. This position is key to accelerating the overall development of GITAI Robotics.Responsibilities:Execute electro-mechanical component assemblies for robotic systems and rovers, ensuring precision and quality.Troubleshoot and repair robots based on defects.Proficiently implement wire harnessing procedures, adhering to precise wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.Conduct basic soldering tasks for harness assembly and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA).Participate in meticulous incoming inspections of CNC parts, PCBAs, and related components to maintain high standards.Collaborate in the review and enhancement of assembly instructions, contributing to greater operational efficiency.Drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing process through daily Kaizen activities, aiming to enhance productivity and product quality.Provide support to various engineering and manufacturing team activities, including evaluation and testing, to ensure the overall success of projects.Requirements:Demonstrated ability to exhibit flexibility and proactivity in task completion, ensuring adaptability to evolving project demands.A minimum of 2 years of practical expertise in electro-mechanical assembly with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.Proficiency in electrical wiring techniques, showcasing a thorough understanding of electrical systems and connections.skilled in utilizing a PC, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and the Microsoft Office suite to effectively communicate, document, and analyze project-related data.Physical capacity to independently lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds,You will be expected to work on weekends as necessary, depending on the work schedule, underscoring the importance of flexibility and adaptability in our team.Preferred Qualifications:Proven aptitude in comprehending, interpreting, and effectively implementing a variety of technical documentation and processes, including but not limited to layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, and work instructions.Extensive experience as a technician specializing in electromechanical components, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their intricate workings.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, enabling the precise comprehension and assembly of electromechanical subcomponents with precision and attention to detail.A keen ability to assess assembly quality both in electrical and mechanical knowledge, ensuring the delivery of high-quality end products.Location:Torrance, CA - Full TimeStandard Working time:09:00-17:00Benefits:Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance + Life Insurance 100% paid by employer401k starts on April 1, 2024 (Planned)If you are in one of our offices you can enjoy free snacks and drinksPaid vacation, sick time, bereavement, and holidays!Important notice:This position is subject to compliance with U.S. export control requirements including EAR and ITAR.
