JOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for performing highly diversified and highly skilled duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, maintenance, building and facilities. The position uses experience and extensive knowledge to complete work orders with use of skilled maintenance techniques including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, heating, air conditioning, knowledge of CNC mechanical electrical repair.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform complex mechanic skills including, but not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, cranes, and welding equipment. Read and interprets mechanical electrical equipment manuals to diagnose, adjust, andor repair, machine malfunctions and operating difficulties during emergency and unscheduled down-timeRebuild complicated machines, components and attachments, to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased partsPerform advanced mechanic activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment, including disconnection and reconnection, dismantling and erecting, leveling, fitting and aligning operationsPerform all segments of maintenance on the building, facilities, and the groundsPerform preventive maintenance on CNC machine, production and all facilities equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning unitsMaintain required maintenance logs and filesSubmit purchasing requests for additional parts and serviceAssist Supervisor in determining the nature and scope of projects and the requirements for completionMay direct work and assist in training of less experienced maintenance staffFollow all clean up and housekeeping proceduresComply with all quality, safety and sanitation regulationsWork safely and follow Toshiba's Safety plete other tasks as assigned by SupervisorToolsEquipmentHand and power tools, machine tools, new equipment use as requiredForklift or scissor lift use requiredLimited computer and basic office equipment useSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Requires one to three years of trades training and three to five years of progressively responsible related experience, or eight to ten years of progressively responsible related experienceExpert mechanical aptitude and experience with ability to perform complex troubleshooting and rebuildsMust be certifiable for Fork Truck operationMust be able to work at altitudes of 100ft. maximumMust be trainable to operate a boom lift and scissor liftMust have the ability to work independentlyAbility to train and direct othersEDUCATION AND TRAINING:Skilled trades training in a related field preferred
