Everything we do is for our growers.Project Specialist:In a newly created and highly visible role, the Specialist will own and drive a highly detailed operations process to excecute compelling packaging for Sunkist and its customers. Facilitate, review and approve multiple packaging projects with a keen eye for detail on all specifications and mandatories. And of course that is error free and delivered on-time!With a project manager skill set, the Specialist will lead internal cross-functional team members and external customers or vendors for all product packaging orders (inception to completion) across multiple business lines. Primary activities are in cross0functional communications, customer technology platforms, marketing creative, print production, product inventory and acquiring information regarding different packaging materials.This is an opportunity to use your organization, relationship and communication skills and eye for creativity all in one role! And a unique opportunity to be first in the role and build out a new dedicated function!Here's What You'll Do:Project Leader:Project manage all packaging initiatives for branded and private label for domestic and international customers with an organized and responsive processFacilitate each project, determine and communicate deliverables and schedule, acquire information from cross-functional teams on inventory and progress, trouble shoot and track budgetRecommend and implement new ideas to improve and optimize current systems and processesRelationship Builder:Build relationships with team members, customers and vendors to accomplish project goalBe recognized as a trusted and valued resource to collaborate on all Packaging ProjectsCollaborate and influence internal and external team embers to achieve your missionCommunicator:Front line communicator for full project order from inception to completionInternal communications; high volume communication across multiple business units and functions (sales to govt relations to legal) to complete data accuracy across multiple product lines, each with its own highly detailed packaging products (key volume related to packaging material information, regulatory mandatories, art approvals and inventory communication)External communications; daily communication with (a) customers to collaborate on order request, aligned timeline, requirements, issues, approvals, etc and (b) print vendors to ensure accurate and quality print processing on time and on budgetTechnology User:Interact daily with customer private label software platforms to complete multi-page of data requirements (i.e., product specifications, material components, quality, mandatories, product certificates, etc)Marketing Creative:Review and approve all packaging artwork for final delivery to customer andor print vendor (font, color, label, regulatory mandatories, etc)Review and approve all packaging guidelines for final delivery to manufacturing (quality, materials, etc)Project manage new packaging designs, design refreshes and other art creative projectsHere's What You'll Bring:Ability to initiate, develop, monitor, follow up, execute and complete projectsExceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects with numerous moving parts and lengthy detailsMindset and inner drive to lead projects to successful and on time completionRelational approach and enjoy engaging with a variety of people and personalitiesStrong communicator with ability to provide clear and concise directions in a kind presentation manner and inspires others to take actionProcess minded thinker; can create best practices and processes to standardize oeprationsStickler for details; deep attention to fine details dotting every I and crossing every TCuriosity for packaging solutions and marketing brandingEase and comfort with frequent changeProficient in MS Office and Adobe PDF; basic in Photoshop and Adobe IllustratorPrefer minimum 2 - 3 years of project, product, program, process, packaging or administrative experiencePrefer college degree; High School diploma or GED requiredHere's What We'll Bring:Annual base compensation range between $60,000.00 to $72,000.
