Job Description:

As a Robotics Technician, you will participate in the cell design, end of arm tooling, and fixture design, along with the installation of automated equipment. This is a 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, direct-hire opportunity.REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GEDTechnical training certificates or associate degree, preferred1 - 8+ years of related experience andor training, OREquivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to define problems, collect data, and establish factsAbility to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controlsAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, stand, walk, and reach with hands or armsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsRESPONSIBILITIES:Work with pneumatics and principles of compressed airWork with hydraulics and principles of fluid mechanicsWork with circuits from 120 to 480 volts and other electrical related tasks to include AC and DC power and circuit boardsAssist in the construction of robotic equipment, collaborating closely with engineersTesting robotic systems to ensure they are working properly before useLayout and install all types of plumbing systems including sweat, glued, screwed, welded connectionsInterpret isometric drawingsUse electrical test equipment to take voltage and current readings and conduct ohm testingInstall and program robotic equipment in a manufacturing facilityTroubleshoot issues - both electrical and mechanical - that arise with robotic equipmentTroubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumaticsMake repairs to robots or peripheral equipment such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, or servomotorsPerform other tasks as requiredMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
