Fueled by a series of strategic acquisitions since its formation in 2018, Meridian has established itself as an adhesive technology leader for a broad, global, blue-chip customer base comprised of OEMs, distributors, and industrial clients with an expanding global footprint.Job SummaryAs an Inside Sales Representative focused on epoxy sales, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and providing them with the best solutions for their applications. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales growth through effective communication and product knowledge with a high level of technical acumen. Your primary markets will include but not limited to the following: Electronics, Fiber Optics, Medical, Automotive, Aerospace and Defense.Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through proactive communication, including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.Develop a deep understanding of our industrial fan products and their applications to provide expert advice to customers.Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products.Generate leads and identify new sales opportunities by researching industries, attending trade shows, and following up on inbound inquiries.Provide technical assistance to customers, helping them select the right industrial fan solutions to meet their specific needs.Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals for customers.Assist customers with order processing, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.Roughly 10% travel to support customers, sales and trade show activities.Skills & AbilitiesProven inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial or technical sales environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand industrial fan products and understand product specification and equipment schedules.Results-driven with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools. Salesforce experience a plus.A self-starter with an initiative-taking approach to sales and customer relationship management.Knowledge of commercial, industrial, and manufacturing industries is a plus. Education & ExperienceA Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, chemistry, material science or a related field.Experience with working through product qualification at key customers and OEM's would be preferred.Prefer New College Graduate with a Chemistry, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering degree or up to 2 years of industrial or technical sales experience.
