Our growing consumer bankruptcy firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team in Atlanta. We are dedicated to helping our clients improve their financial situation and get a fresh start. No prior experience in bankruptcy law is necessary, as we take pride in training our attorneys in-house.Responsibilities:Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filingsWorking with clients to assess their financial situation and eligibility for bankruptcyPrepare and file bankruptcy petitions and related documentsAttend court hearings, including 341 meetings and confirmation hearings afterCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelStay up-to-date on changes in bankruptcy law and regulationsParticipate in ongoing training and professional developmentQualifications:J.D. degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in Illinois, or eligible to become licensedPassionate about helping people and making a positive impact on their livesStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlinesEager to learn and grow within the practice of bankruptcy lawWhy Work With Us?Comprehensive in-house training and supportOpportunity to make a significant impact on clients' livesCollaborative and supportive team environmentCompetitive salary and benefits package.
