Opportunity:YuMe (a Maxx Group Company), an award-winning designer and manufacturer of licensed toys and products, has an immediate requirement for an organized, detail-oriented licensing Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing Los Angeles (El Segundo) team. You can find examples of our work here:Human Resources Coordinator will perform a range of duties supporting regional managers in the USA, Canada, and London and work closely with other HR staff and all levels of employees across the Company. The responsibilities consist of payroll, compensation and benefits, recruiting, policies, training, employee relations, diversity, recognition, and other HR programs. The incumbent will provide resolutions and consulting in the above areas to ensure profitable business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting and managing HR for a global company.This opportunity offers tremendous potential for advancement, ideal for someone seeking career development.We currently work in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Friday. Only local candidates will be considered.Principals only, please; no recruiters or phone calls.Responsibilities:Responsible for the full spectrum of human resources services for Maxx Group companies, including but not limited to recruitment, staffing, compensation and benefits, payroll, staff benefits, and all employee matters.Assist with the development and implementation of human resource policies and job performance evaluations.Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related municate to internal stakeholders about human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.Administer and educate employees on benefits and maintain a sustainable relationship with insurance providers.Ensure insightful exit interviews and provide management with analysis and recommendations.Provide resolutions to employee relations issues.Help manage unemployment claims.Oversee adequate orientation and training within the organization.Administer and record employee recognition and incentive programs.Build and sustain beneficial relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions.Post job vacancies using LinkedIn Job Slots and manage ATS.Perform interviews, screens, and recruit for entry-level, sales, marketing, and designer job openings.Ensure the compatibility of applicants to job positions.Manage salary structure, position documentation, and an evaluation system.Develop and provide recommendations for policies and processes.Provide research as requested.Plan, organize, and attend recruitment fairs as requested.Plan and organize staff events and recreational activities.Keep job descriptions current.Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically, and in plete other duties and projects as assigned.Requirements:A degree in Human Resources Management is required.
