Job Description:

We are a growing electrical construction company based out of Vancouver, WA that was just awarded our largest project to date! We are looking for a productive and dependable CDL Driver to join our team. This individual is responsible for supporting the company's ongoing operations by offering accurate, timely, and professional delivery of equipment and goods to and from our job sites. The efforts of this individual will help support the team's ability to complete our projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining our high standards for quality. This position requires the ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, and subcontractors. Qualified candidates must be capable of self-starting and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize and execute directions in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDrive and operate trucks.Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.Pre-inspect truck.Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.Load and unload cargo.Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all plete and verify paperwork for accuracy with prompt submittal and processing.Demonstratively uphold the Mill Plain Electric core values which include:Do the right thingBe RespectfulComposure under fireGive a RIP - Show you careHave some fire in the bellyQualificationsTraffic laws DOT regulations driving knowledgePallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferredAbility to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout dayAble to pass random drug testsClean driving recordNo DUIDWI convictions in the past seven yearsDependabilityHigh school diploma or equivalentCDL - Class A Certificate from an accredited CDL school21 years or olderP endorsement preferredAt least six months of OTR experienceStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience working with a specialty subcontractor or Sparky preferred.Mill Plain Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a Drug-Free Workplace Program.
