Join our thriving creative community where your ideas make a difference.OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:As a Senior Sales Operations Manager, you are responsible for optimizing the success of the EIS sales team to ensure the achievement of sales and profitability objectives.A DAY IN THE LIFE:As a Senior Sales Operations Manager, you are responsible for optimizing the success of the EIS sales team to ensure the achievement of sales and profitability objectives.Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering and manufacturingproduction to align strategies and achieve overall organizational goals. Facilitate communication between sales and other teams to ensure timely execution of projects.Monitor sales automation tools (SpotlightEpicor) to enhance workflow and reduce manual tasks.Regularly analyze and report on account manager and project manager performance, including individual and team metrics. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in overall performance.Provide ongoing support and resources for continuous learning and development of direct reports.Work with demand planning to develop and maintain accurate forecasts to help the organization plan and allocate resources effectively.Other Duties as assigned.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 5+ years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.The ability to make sound & timely decisions grounded in knowledge of the business and economic environment is paramount. Many circumstances will require that decisions be made with incomplete information and the ideal candidate will have a high degree of comfort working under such conditions.Demonstrate a drive, a sense of urgency, and possess a strong result driven orientation.The ideal candidate will have the executive presence and gravitas to quickly gain credibility and instill a culture where our highly experienced, high performance professionals act with a sense of empowerment and share a common understanding of organization goals and philosophy.Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers and other employees within the organization.Ability to travel within North American and outside the region 10% of the time.Ability to influence directly and indirectly and navigate a complex organization is imperative along with an ability to understand and communicate the "big picture" and the details comprising that picture.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
