Exciting and growing asbestos testing company in the LA market looking for a Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Environmental Surveys to assess and identify potential hazards with asbestos, lead, and moldConduct indoor air quality assessments and site monitoringSafely navigate to and from job sites and laboratory facilitiesMonitor and document ongoing projects to ensure compliance with regulationsPrepare detailed reports summarizing survey's findings, sample results and monitoring activitiesCollaborate with project managers, clients and regulatory agencies as neededJob QualificationsCertified as a Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) with current AHERA certificationsMinimum of 6 months experience in conducting environmental surveys and sample collectionAble to lift a min of 35 lbs and ability to climb ladders, stairs, and crawl in small space to access areas such as attics, roofs and crawlspacesValid Driver License with a good driving recordStrong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a collaborative teamProficiencyEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAdditional certifications in environmental testing or related fields preferred
