ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating construction operations, purchases, financial reporting, and project control activities for an assigned portfolio of concurrent electrical projectsThe Project Manager is heavily involved in all aspects of project execution from participation in proposals and procurement, contract negotiations, and managing all aspects of project operations and financial performanceEnsures work is performed within a pre-scheduled budget and manages project performance to meet or exceed prescribed goalsProvides direction on individual staff developmentCollaborates with cross-functional teams and Supervisory staff to allocate staff and resources to meet objectives, investigate, and implement ways to improve the efficiency and profitability of all projectsLeading and motivating a team of employees, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.Review project contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with owners, architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsEstablishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.Prepares project budget and schedules of valuesbilling .Executes major project purchases in collaboration with the operations team. This includes the development of purchasingbuyout, developmentexecution of product data submittalshop drawings for approval, management of material releases for timely delivery to projects, and mitigation of supply chain issuesManages project profitability for each project in hisher portfolio of workLearning the Foundations software system and cost coding.Qualifications5+ years experience in Project Management Electrical FieldStrong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools required for electrical constructionExperience managing projects 2 million and aboveAbility to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced work environmentExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyWorking knowledge of the NEC, and common electrical installation methods, and be fluent in estimating processesHave thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, materials, means, & methods, etc.)Exhibit strong leadership and decision making abilities, with the capacity to drive change and implement process improvements.Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to idenify and address operational challenges.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in using Foundations software and tools.Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Electrical Installation methodsWhat's In It for You -This position pays between $80-$120k a year, depending on experience plus full benefits eligibility, and company vehicle.
