Job Description:

Summary:The HR Generalist is responsible for providing a variety of human resources support to the organization. This includes recruiting and hiring new employees, administering employee benefits and leave, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing employee relations support. The HR Generalist also plays a key role in ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. This position will report directly to the Vice President of HR.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Implement HR systems, processes, and drive culture topics in the organization.Recruit and hire new employees, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendationsAdminister employee benefits and leave, including enrolling employees in benefits programs, processing leave requests, and tracking employee benefits usageDevelop and implement HR policies and procedures, including policies on employee conduct, performance management, and compensation and benefitsProvide employee relations support, including counseling employees on personal and work-related issues, mediating conflicts, and investigating complaintsEnsure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including conducting training on employment law for managers and employeesMaintain employee records and files, including payroll records, performance reviews, and disciplinary recordsPrepare and deliver training programs on HR-related topics to employees and managersAssist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and wellness programsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to quickly learn HR related systems. Previous experience implementing them preferred.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.6+ years of experience in a human resources generalist or sr. human resources roleStrong knowledge of employment law and regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual in Spanish or Hindi preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to maintain confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
