Job Description:

PRID is seeking a fulltime position for an Interior Architectural Draftsperson to generate AutoCAD drawings for various projects scopes and types. Ideal candidates should possess at least 15 years of field measuring and drafting experience and be proficient in AutoCAD software.Job Summary: The Interior Architectural CAD Drafter works closely with architects, engineers, and designers to create accurate and detailed drawings for interior architectural projects. They use CAD software to produce plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings necessary for the design and construction process. This role requires a strong understanding of interior architectural principles, and construction techniques. · Experience: Proven experience working as an interior architectural CAD drafter or similar role in interior architecture or construction industry.· Familiarity with interior architectural design principles, and construction methods.· CAD Proficiency: Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, with the ability to produce high-quality interior architectural drawings that meet industry standards and project requirements.· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.· Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve design challenges and technical issues encountered during the drafting process· Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Use CAD software to produce plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings necessary for the design and construction process.· Drafting: Produce accurate and detailed interior architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details based on architectural designs and specifications provided by architects and designers· Coordination: Collaborate with architects, GC, cabinet markers and other team members to ensure drawings meet project objectives and specifications· Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate mechanical, and electrical components into interior architectural drawings.· Documentation: Prepare and maintain drawing sets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.· Revision Management: Manage revisions and updates to drawings throughout the design and construction process, incorporating feedback and changes as required.· Quality Control: Review drawings for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission for approval.· Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, clients, and contractors to clarify design intent, resolve issues, and address feedback related to interior architectural drawings.ability to perform the following tasks is required:Perform detailed field measuring in a clear and concise manner to ultimately generate existing condition plans that will serve as the basis of the project's construction drawings.Have a clear understanding of AutoCAD x-references and how to manipulate viewports in host files to properly display drawing information and geometry.Must perform tasks quickly and efficiently to meet demanding deadlines.Have a positive attitude, genuine interest in the field and a willingness to learnCAD Software: Utilize CAD software, AutoCAD proficiently to create and modify drawings according to project requirements. ArchiCAD, Revit and Sketchup are a bonus.
