Environmental Project ManagerBenderson Development is one of America's largest privately held real estate companies. We are proud to own and manage over 800 properties encompassing over 50 million square feet in 41 states. The diverse Benderson portfolio includes retail, office, industrial, hotel, residential, and land holdings.The Environmental Project Manager will work with our Director of Construction to oversee various environmental clean-up projects.Principle Duties & ResponsibilitiesOrder, direct, track progress and review results of Phase 1 Environmental Investigations.Order, direct, track progress and review results of Phase 2 Environmental Investigations.Bid, award, coordinate, and track progress of Environmental Clean-up projects.Order, direct and track progress of limited and pre-demo asbestos surveys. Ensure survey efforts are adequate to properly quantify ACM.Bid and Award demolition and asbestos abatement projects.Limited overnight travel required from time to time.Knowledge and understanding of environmental issues, relevant legislation, and renewable energy sources.QualificationsMinimum of 2-3 years of environmental project management experience. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, construction management, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.Strong project management skills, results-driven, with ability to manage multiple deadlines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.A strong analytical thought process with sound judgement and a keen attention to detail.Must be a self-starter with a collaborative spirit.Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must live in the Western New York Area; Out of area candidates must relocate.Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually **Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
