They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts. In order to continue to generate revenue, this candidate should be able to uncover new client needs and find a way to add value to their business.  ResponsibilitiesGrow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clientsManage operation of accounts through responding to customers, forecasting, arranging services and ordering new productGenerate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growthPosition requires someone who has effective communication skills but more importantly the aptitude and energy to promote technical information and processes to our sophisticated agricultural cliental. You will assess the needs of the packer, take their input, and show them solutions using our new and innovative technology.Meet or exceed all assigned sales and brand performance objectivesDevelop, build, and maintain relationships with current and new clients.Develop additional contacts within existing accounts to meet sales quotas, increase revenue and continuously grow the business. Provide comprehensive advice and guidance in response to customer inquiries regarding technical specifications, product selection, and general sales information. Prepare responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information)Attending and participating in sales meetings, trade shoes, customer meetings, conferences, and other marketing events. Maintain expertise of MAF Industries, Inc. Products and Services, relevant and appropriate knowledge of competitive productsPerform all work in accordance with all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirementsWillingness to travel in assigned region and to required corporate functions, including periodic weekend and extended travel when necessary in region and internationally.Work as a productive member of the MAF Industries, Inc. Team at all times to achieve expected objectives and outcomes; Provide process improvement recommendations to MAF Industries, Inc. Leadership TeamQualificationsBachelor's degree 2+ years in related fieldProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational, communication and analytical skills Strong understanding of full sales processExperience utilizing customer relationship management softwareBackground should include first-hand knowledge of packing house operations and equipment applications. A proven sales and negotiation background.Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills; a team-player that is self-motivatedBachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution (education in science or business a plus)Minimum of 2 years' agricultural capital equipment sales experience requiredInjectable (buy and bill) experience highly preferred; supportive care sales experience a plusPrevious experience in either sales training, sale operations or manage care functions a plusAdaptable to changing priorities and market dynamics Optical sorting, traceability, food safety, automation and mechanical related to the agricultural industryPromote financial benefits to clients providing evidence on return of investment on solution soldProject management knowledge; cost, schedule and quality Bi-Lingual English SpanishRequirementsMust be eligible to obtain a valid passportPossess a valid driver's license and meet the requirements of the corporate motor vehicle policyMust be capable of driving without restrictionsAbility to work in food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and outside in highlow temperatures.
