🌐 Join Global Raw Materials Supplier for Coatings and Industrial SectorsNow Hiring: Lead Formulations Scientist - Solvent Borne CoatingsAs a Coatings Lead Formulations Scientist, you will support the innovation in the Paint and Coatings, Adhesives, and Sealants markets through formulation design, evaluation, and engagement with paint and coatings customers.Location: Charlotte, NCKey Accountabilities:- Lead the coatings laboratory's design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.- Conduct coatings laboratory projects supporting new product development and commercial growth.- Interface with technology platforms, corporate analytical labs, and pilot staff for seamless technology transfer and scale-up.- Support coating technical product commercialization by creating technical data sheets, brochures, and new product launch packages.- Contribute to cross-functional teams, develop IP strategy in the coatings space, and conduct annual coatings IP landscape studies.- Coordinate comparative testing and evaluation of competitive products in the coatings markets.- Supervise lab technicians and junior scientist.- Provide training and technical assistance to Sales, Operations, and Marketing.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or MasterPh.D. degree with 5+ years of experience in formulations, application development, and product development in solvent-borne coatings.- Experience in various paint and coating systems.- Laboratory experience with chemicals, MSDS, ventilation, and safety training.- Hands-on ability to execute analyticallab procedures and maintain applicable equipmentsystems.- Deep knowledge of coating formulations with a structured methodology for building, optimizing, and testing coating formulations is petitive Salary and Relocation Assistance Offered.
