What you will be doing The work you will do as a Senior HR Manager within our distribution center and supply chain operations will drive a strong culture of engagement and inclusion. The Distribution Center is your local team, and you will collaborate with other HR leaders in our Corporate Offices, Distribution Centers, and Manufacturing Plants across the company. Main responsibilities: Cultivate a culture centered around driving a fantastic Associate Experience by leading all people and culture-related strategies, including those related to Diversity and Inclusion, Associate Engagement, Training, Talent Development and Associate Relations. Partner with DC Leadership to drive succession and talent planning processes, including assessing current leadership bench depth, identifying gaps, and making recommendations on readiness and potential for promotion. Strategically partner with leaders to drive an Associate Experience that supports the company's culture, values, purpose, and operational goals. Develop internal candidates for key positions through the performance management and talent process, including individual and team development planning. Drive talent acquisition priorities by developing current and future staffing strategies to support Company hiring and recruiting practices for both exempt and non-exempt roles; influence diversity progress in all aspects of employment; and actively participating in selection of strong talent. Actively engage in associate relation issues and investigations to foster an environment of trust, respect, safety, and compliance. Lead, grow and develop your direct reports to support all Human Resource needs. Collaborate with Labor Relations and other applicable teams to develop strategies and create plans to mitigate employee relations opportunities and to maximize employer of choice matters. Partner with Labor Relations and Management in Union negotiations and interpretation of Labor contracts. Implement and oversee processes that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Represent Albertsons Companies when required on unemployment claims, charges, or third-party claims. Ensure effective communication to associates regarding company policies and practices. Handle complex andor sophisticated Human Resources matters, initiatives or projects. Work with corporate partners to ensure effective execution of all Company initiatives and associate policies and practices impacting your team, including but not limited to payroll, compensation, LOAs, benefits and time-off programs. Ensure timely follow-up with associates as necessary. What are the skills and experiences we are searching for: Bachelor's degree in an HR related field, or equivalent experience. HR Certification andor master's degree a plus. A comprehensive understanding and expertise in Human Resources, typically gained through applicable Human Resources experience of 5+ years in the field. 3+ years of management experience. The ability to influence and lead at all levels to achieve desired results. Using sound judgement in decision making & problem solving comes naturally. Experience and passion for leading or supporting diversity, equity, & inclusion programs Growth, Development, and Succession planning are important focus areas for you. Strong conflict management and interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical Environment: The workday is fast paced to support a 247 environment; some evening and weekend work may be required to support operational needs. Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk; but will regularly walk through the warehouse and other campus facilities to engage with associates in their work environment.
