Job Description:

Our client is looking to fill the role of Account Manager- Services and Business Development. Cultivate relationships within a designated territory to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. The primary focus is generation of new account revenue through the identification and development of qualified leads by developing a deep understanding of customer needs. This position will be located on site in the Richmond office. Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals for duties assignedIdentify and capture new business opportunities and develop new relationships with prospective clients to expand sales revenue and market share within assigned territory Conduct cold calls, face-to-face visits and presentations with clients and prospects in specific market segments Develop intelligence and background information on prospects, in order to develop targeted presentations which address the prospective client's needsTrack all customers, prospects, opportunities and all sales activity into CRM systemDevelop an understanding of competitors' products and actions to promote a competitive edgeProvide follow-up to clients to ensure satisfaction with the Company's products and services providedIdentify and capture marketclient trends and communicate findings to managementContinuously improve knowledge of roofing industry by keeping abreast of changes in the marketParticipate in sales meetings and training and engage in local and regional associations as warrantedTrack and report weekly sales activities to include brief discussion outlines. Keep an individual record of service calls related to on-boarded customers in the territory executed in the preceding week.Expense reports are to be submitted monthly, by the 25th, with reimbursement made during the following week's payable processing.All other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent3 - 5 years sales experienceDemonstrated success in sales, a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve resultKnowledge and ability to communicate the Company's strengths and value propositions as the preferred provider of roof solutionsAbility to managequalify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phoneExcellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trustSolid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skillsProblem solving ability so that appropriate solutions can be offered to meet client's needsComfortable with using computer systems to track data, including strong analytical abilities to assess data collectedAbility to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and contract documents, as well as converse comfortably with all levels of the client's organizatioProficient in Microsoft applications including SharePoint and CRMSales training methodology such as SandlerRoofing industry knowledge or experienceKnowledge of business and management principlesPreferred candidate must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment Previous experience in roofing, construction or a related field salesSuperb communication skillsSuperior ability to be persuasiveConstruction and roofing industry experience Sound problem assessment and problem-solving skillsSound judgment and ability to make decisions Well organized; Adept at planning work and managing timeExtreme attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong InitiativeSuperior IntegrityAdaptabilityWillingness to learnTeamwork and collaborationIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
