We are looking for a Chinese speaking Sourcing Project Manager to join our team.The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the supplier side of contract manufacturing projects. ResponsibilitiesAttend and participate in weekly Sourcing team meetings, monthly project summary meetings, and monthly financial update meetingsRFQ ManagementAttend and participate in project kickoff calls to understand scope and requirements of RFQSource new project RFQs within 14 daysComplete requote RFQs within 2 daysReview and negotiate factory pricing proposalsUpdate RFQ logProject Order ManagementPlace production orders with factoriesReview production schedules, and ensure production orders stay on scheduleProvide weekly updates to National Account Managers Verify freight bookingsApprove factory payment amountsMaintain necessary project recordsQuality ManagementParticipate in development of product inspection requirementsReview inspection reportsLead root cause analysis, write Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and help resolve quality issuesProvide Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to inspectors and factoriesUpdate Issue Resolution logQualificationsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeTeam oriented - cooperative and collaborativeSelf-motivated and able to self-check workAbility to use experience to creatively solve manufacturing, quality, and shipment issuesStrong attention to detail and an aptitude for prioritizing and organizing workloadGood oral and written communication skills with fluency in both Chinese and English are essentialEligible to work in the United StatesAbility to read engineering drawingsEngineering, mechanical, or manufacturing background with 3+ years work experienceLANGUAGE REQUIREMENT - Chinese speakerHybrid work - Will require a high-speed internet connection and home computerHighly proficient in MS Office Excel and Word
