Job Description:

Global Billion dollar company is looking for a Barrier Coatings Chemist for the Pulp and Paper industry. The position is located in Atlanta, GA and relocation assistance is provided. Responsibilities:The employee is primarily responsible for Research and Development creating and formulating new products for paper barrier coatings. Identify new and unique ways to protect paper from moisture, oil & grease, and oxygen. Daily working on the bench to create and modify formulations.Work from formulation to plant scale up. Interact with internal and external customers. RequirementsThe employee must have at least a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or similar and minimum 2+ years paper barrier coatings experience Proven experience independently creating formulations.Experience identifying resistance to water, Oil & Greese, oxygen, etc.Confident working in a labStrong organization skills are important to effectively manage the wide range of responsibilities.
