That's how we make a difference to our clients, people, and the planet.What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?Woodard & Curran is offering a unique opportunity to join our Water Infrastructure team to provide high-quality water, wastewater, andor recycled water services to municipal clients across the firm's geographies and core markets. The successful candidate will have technical expertise in the field of civilenvironmental engineering and have an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with the assessment, design, and construction of horizontal wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. Specific experience includes sewer and drain pipeline inspection, risk assessment, rehabilitation, and understanding Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and municipal compliance. Design and construction experience should include projects that utilize open-cut sewer replacement, cured-in-place lining, slip lining, pipe bursting, and lateral rehabilitation. The candidate will have experience preparing engineering reports, and contract documents for construction, and overseeing the construction of their design. Knowledge of the State Revolving Fund Program is preferred.The successful candidate will report directly to Project Managers who provide leadership in the timely and high-quality delivery of services. The successful Project Engineer candidate will be capable of mentoring staff engineers in technical matters and professional conduct.What will you need to succeed:2-8 years of engineering experience.B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.Experience using GIS as a design and asset management tool.Knowledge of NASSCO, certification is a plus.Registered Professional Engineer is a addition, this position will require experience in the following supervisory and project engineering duties:Coordinating the work of engineers and developing and monitoring schedule and budget components of larger projectsExperience leading the design team or specific design components.Experience in Construction Administration, including bidding & award, submittal review, oversight of on-site engineers, and review of pay applications, change orders, and RFIs.Familiarity with AutoCAD softwareMaking decisions independently on engineering problems and methods.Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under teracting with clients, and representing the firm in a professional manner.$72,000 - $108,000 a yearThis position's anticipated pay range is provided; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
