Your new company Our client is a Texas based heavy civil contractor who specialize in the infrastructure construction across Texas. They have been in the industry for over 60 years and have multiple offices across Texas. They focus on airports, bridge, highway and water infrastructure projects valued form $10Mill up to $2Bill. Due to increased growth within the organization they are not looking for an experienced estimator for the Central Texas division. Your new role As Estimator , you will be responsible for managing estimating team and preparing complete estimates for heavy highway, structures and heavy civil projects varying in size. You will be required to liaise and work closely with owners, vendors, subcontractors and project managers. Some of your duties will include initial contact with the client, review purchase orders, prepare complete estimates as well as provide technical assistance where required. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Estimator in the civil construction industry and hold either a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree. You will come from a heavy civil background and have experience on working on highway projects. You will also possess excellent leadership qualities and are able to lead on any given project or task.
