SummaryThe Medicaid Specialist makes a meaningful difference in the lives of aged and disabled individuals by assisting them in accessing vital Medicaid benefits and services such as Institutional Care Program (ICP), Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), and Medicaid waiver benefits. Guided by our core values of integrity, teamwork, passion, and compassion, you will provide comprehensive support to clients and families navigating the complex landscape of Medicaid eligibility and benefits.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted advocate for clients, guiding them through the Medicaid application process.Assist with strategy implementation and ensuring timely submission of applicationdocumentation.Manage a caseload of clients, providing ongoing assistance throughout the Medicaid process.Collaborate with attorneys, government agencies, and community partners to gather necessary information, coordinate benefits, and advocate for clients' needs effectively.Maintain accurate and current records of interactions, application status and benefit approvals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.Previous experience with the Medicaid eligibility process andor Medicaid planning.Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, particularly related to aged and disabled populations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.About our CompanyThe Siegel Law Group is a rapidly expanding law firm based in South Florida, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges through meticulous asset planning.
