Job Description:

Loan Closer - West Houston Department(s) andor Operations responsibility scope of this position: Prepare and review new and renewed loan documents, in addition to the rest of the loan files. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and adhere to loan policy. Primary duties and responsibilities: (essential to this position) Meet external and internal customer service standards established by the Bank. Preparation of consumer and commercial loan files Review closing documents prepared by attorneys. Conduct a thorough audit of each file to ensure loan documentation matches loan approval. Complete Due Diligence workflow through SageworksAbrigo Order title searchescommitments, tax certificates, settlement statements, warranty deeds, attorney docs. Pull UCC searches, flood determinations, OFAC, Certificate of Account Status, MLA Searches, FFIEC Geocode, etc. Interact with customers regarding closing requirements. Review title to ensure loan conditions are met prior to closing. Arrange time and date of closings. Review loan packages for completeness and accuracy in documentation. Review transactions for regulatory compliance. Coordinate the correction of pre-funding deficiencies and exceptions. Approves funding with title company, Input wires for fundings and send loans for booking. Skills and Qualifications: Document preparation and review in commercial banking (real-estate, commercial, consumer, some residential) Thorough knowledge of loan regulations required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and high level of accountability Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment Knowledgeable of compliance responsibilities.
