Job Description:

A law firm that currently ranks as one of the 200 largest law firms in the United States is eagerly seeking a Junior to mid-level Real Estate Associate to join their Cleveland, OH office.Ideal candidate:The candidate must have at least five years of experience working on commercial real estate transactionsThis position involves representation of owners of commercial real estate in connection with development, purchase, sale and financing. Experience in the negotiation of commercial leases, purchase, and sale agreements.Property acquisition, divestitures, development, joint venture formation, land development, and leasing.Experience in the following areas is essential, title and survey review, complex acquisition, disposition, leasing, and finance transaction.Retail leasing experience is a plus.Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.Responsibilities:The candidate will perform transactional work relating to commercial real estateBe involved in the negotiation of joint ventures agreements and the preparation of equity syndication documents.
